Located in New York City at the World Trade Center site, the 9/11 Memorial & Museum tells the story of 9/11 through media, narratives, and artifacts, and honors those who were killed in the 2001 and 1993 attacks. There is a museum shop and café on the premises. All entrances and public areas of the Museum are wheelchair accessible. Standard manual wheelchairs and wheeled walkers are available free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis. Induction loops that transmit sound directly to visitors with T-coil compatible hearing aids and cochlear implants are installed throughout the Museum wherever there is audio.

The Gilded Age mansion in Manhattan which the Frick Collection occupies has undergone a long renovation and reopened to critical acclaim. New galleries on the first floor are dedicated to the museum's special exhibitions. The second floor is newly accessible to visitors, delivering a 25% increase in the space for displaying objects from the permanent collection; a highlight is a room dedicated to a series of mid-eighteenth-century decorative panels by François Boucher and his workshop. Visitors to the Frick will encounter paintings and sculptures by Bellini, Clodion, Gainsborough, Goya, Holbein, Houdon, Ingres, Piero della Francesca, Rembrandt, Titian, Turner, Velezquez, Vermeer, Whistler, among many others. The Historic Sites of the Morris County Park Commission
The Morris County Park Commission manages three historical sites at various locations, all them on the National Register of Historic Places. Fosterfields Living Historical Farm is a working farm situated on 213 acres which employs the tools, techniques, and materials of the 1920s. Originally built in built in 1826, the Cooper Gristmill at Black River County Park is one of the remaining restored water-powered mills in New Jersey. Historic Speedwell preserves the restored estate of Stephen Vail, proprietor of the Speedwell Iron Works from the early to mid-1800s, where Vail and Samuel B. Intrepid Museum
The Intrepid Museum, located on the Hudson River in Manhattan, features the legendary aircraft carrier Intrepid, the space shuttle Enterprise, some of the world's fastest jets, and a guided missile submarine. The ship is now a National Historic Landmark, having served tours of duty in World War II and the Vietnam War, and acted as a recovery vessel for the Gemini and Mercury space missions. The Liberty Hall Museum occupies a 50-room Victorian Italianate mansion on 23 acres of the campus of Kean University. Originally constructed in 1772 as a country retirement home, over the years it has been visited—or inhabited—by famous governors, congressmen, senators, assembly persons, philanthropists and entrepreneurs, including George Washington. MacCulloch Hall Historical Museum
The MacCulloch Hall Historical Museum originally housed five generations of the MacCulloch family from 1810 to 1949. Restored as a museum by W. Parsons Todd in 1949, it now preserves 200 years of American history. It includes the largest collection of original work by the political cartoonist Thomas Nast, whose work is displayed in temporary and permanent exhibits—alongside archival letters, photographs, maps, drawings, and books—which tell the story of Morristown and presents historic events in the 19th and 20th centuries. There is a free digital guide and inclusive tour options, including one that encourages visitors to explore the collections through touch, and another that allows visitors to explore the Museum at their own pace using their smart device. Morris Museum
Founded in 1913, the Morris Museum is home to a rather eclectic mix of collections focusing on fossils, local wildlife, model trains, minerals, Native Americans, and paintings and sculpture, among other things. The jewel of the museum, however, is the Murtogh D. Guinness Collection of mechanical musical instruments and automata, a demonstration of which is conducted every Saturday and Sunday at 2:00 pm.
