This event is presented by the Historical Society of Florham Park.

The first people of New Jersey arrived thousands of years before the Colonial Era. These Stone Age migrants appeared after the last glacial ice began to recede and became the Lenape people.

Walter Choroszewski shares their story revealed from artifacts discovered at NJ archeological sites, as well as from the written record after First Contact with European colonists of the 17th and 18th centuries.
