Historian Joel Farkas will take us on an exciting journey form the circumstances that led to the discovery of the Americas, and ultimately, to the American Revolution. Laying the foundation with how the Revolutionary War, including a young militia major named George Washington; established Britain's dominance of the Americas, and, also its extreme debt. The lecture will explore the conditions of the colonists, such as excessive taxation, leading to the Boston Massacre and the Boston Tea Party.
